Standards

As an independent software manufacturer, we are committed to providing a standard-compliant software solution to our customers.

Standards

This allows health facilities to rely on the future-security of synedra AIM without depending on vendor-specific technology. This well-proven company philosophy also enables the homogeneous and efficient integration of synedra AIM into the existing system landscape of our customers, from the connection of DICOM modalities to the integration of information systems, such as RIS or HIS, and department systems, such as PAC systems from third party vendors.

IHE

Over the last few years, vendors as well as operators of medical software have come to recognize the important role the IHE initiative is bound to play in the future, not least against the background of the growing importance of ehealth in the health sector. That is why particular focus is given to the requirements of the IHE initiative in the development of synedra AIM. At the yearly IHE-Connect-a-thons, the interoperability of synedra AIM with the solutions from other vendors is tested and optimized under real conditions. Currently, synedra AIM supports eleven integration profiles, e.g., Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS, XDS-I), Consistent Presentation of Images (CPI) and Scheduled Worklflow (SWF).

DICOM and HL7

When it comes to integrating imaging devices and systems, the DICOM standard plays an ever more important role also outside the radiology department. The HL7 standard is equally important when it comes to connecting to medical information systems. As a universal archive covering all specialties, synedra AIM has therefore been designed to meet the requirements of both the DICOM and the HL7 standards, allowing an easy and standardized implementation of interfaces to other systems.
