PACS and radiological diagnosis
With its high work pace and the numerous, easy to use tools, synedra View is the custom-made solution for use on radiology workstations. The following functions, among others, help users to execute their workflows efficiently:
- Can be run as a native 64 bits application; for optimized performance and quick loading of very big studies
- Display of all DICOM image types

Image and multimedia data viewing
For the display of image and multimedia data outside the radiology department, synedra View can be closely integrated with the existing HIS. Because synedra View has been conceived as a viewer for the entire health facility, the software is equipped with all tools specifically designed for radiologists. Additionally, a great number of helpful accessory tools support the multiple workflows also of our non-radiological users, e.g.:
- Patient-oriented, hierarchically structured document overview
- Display of numerous graphic image formats
- Direct display of PDF/A documents without the need to change the application
- Integrated media player for the display of video files (AVI, DICOM MPEG2, DICOM H.264)
- Streaming function for the immediate loading and displaying of videos from the archive
- Integrated invocation of external applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop...)
Acquisition of videos, archiving of image and multimedia data
synedra View is not only suitable for data viewing and diagnostic imaging. The optional modules “synedra View Import” and “synedra View Import/Video” allow users to easily associate a patient context to data prior to storing them in the synedra AIM archive, and that independent of the format.
