RHÖN-KLINIKUM Campus Bad Neustadt covers a broad spectrum of inpatient medical care. Its 16 specialist departments cover the following areas: Cardiovascular Medicine, Neuromedicine, Oncology, Pneumology, Orthopedics and Trauma Medicine.
Over 5,000 employees treat around 26,000 in-patients and 66,000 out-patients per year.

The project
When the RHÖN-KLINIKUM Campus Bad Neustadt decided to replace its in-house developed HIS at all locations, it started looking for a hospital-wide solution that would also be able to store all multimedia data.
A combination of MEONA KIS and the Health Content Management Platform synedra AIM was able to fulfill this requirement perfectly.
The data generated in the old HIS have been completely migrated to synedra AIM.
All departmental systems, both PAC systems and all DICOM modalities outside the radiology department are now directly connected to synedra AIM. Scanned data and photos are now archived in synedra AIM by means of synedra Import.
