About synedra

synedra information technologies GmbH was founded in Innsbruck (Austria) in the year 2005. Its foundation was based on the idea to launch a platform solution for the archiving of all medical data, thereby covering the requirements of all specialties of a healthcare facility in a hospital-wide system. The result was synedra AIM – our universal archive that has been continuously developed and now provides our customers with up-to-date solutions with regard to the acquisition, storage, archiving, visualization and distribution of data.

Expertise and quality

Thomas Pellizzari PhD, company founder and major owner of synedra information technologies, has been in leading positions in companies active in the field of medical informatics for more than 15 years. The company's success in Austria as well as abroad is not least due to his dedication, concepts and ideas that are based on years of experience and expertise.

The majority of the company's more than 50 employees can look back on many years of experience in the field of medical informatics as well, which enables them to contribute to the company's innovative process in an active and positive way.

To also provide our customers in Germany and Switzerland with high-standard service and support, synedra founded two subsidiary companies in these two countries.

synedra Schweiz AG

Switzerland is of major importance to our company. The ever-growing number of installations prove that the innovative and progressive approach of synedra AIM is highly appreciated throughout Switzerland. Among our customers are the Hirslanden Private Hospital Group, Switzerland's largest private hospital operator, as well as the University Hospital of Zurich.

Since 2009, Daniel Wälti has been managing director of the synedra Schweiz AG. He is an expert in the field of medical IT, combining comprehensive understanding of the Swiss health market with in-depth knowledge of synedra AIM, thus being able to support and advise our Swiss customers with regard to their special requirements in the best way possible.

synedra Deutschland GmbH

synedra Deutschland GmbH, synedra's German subsidiary company, was founded in November 2009 with the aim to spread the company's remarkable and ongoing success in Austria and Switzerland to Germany. We were also encouraged to take this step by a steadily growing number of customers in Southern Germany. Today, we are proud to have internationally renowned facilities like the University Medical Center Freiburg or the University Hospital of Giessen and Marburg among our customers.
